Zeolite: Scientific findings and data from empirical medicine

Zeolite is a versatile natural mineral that is used in numerous health applications. Scientific studies have proven its effectiveness, particularly in the detoxification of heavy metals and other toxins, which contributes to an improvement in overall health. These research findings support the use of zeolite to promote physical and mental health. In addition to these scientifically proven applications, there are many indications where the positive effects of zeolite are based primarily on long-term experience in holistic medicine. These include improving intestinal health, strengthening the immune system and supporting skin problems. These applications are supported by numerous testimonials and practical experience in naturopathy, even if the scientific evidence is not yet comprehensive.

Not all zeolites are the same: Scientific confirmation has only been provided for the special form PMA zeolite

However, it is important to make a clear distinction: The scientific evidence and recognition for zeolite products refers in particular to a special form of zeolite known as PMA zeolite. PMA zeolite (‘PMA’ stands for Panaceo Micro-Activated Zeolite) is a specially processed form of zeolite developed by the research company PANACEO International GmbH. Since 1999, this company has conducted numerous clinical studies investigating and proving the efficacy and safety of PMA zeolite in various applications. In addition, PMA zeolite is not only scientifically proven, but also approved as a Class IIb medical device. This means that its structures and functions have been specifically enhanced for human health and that the study results cannot be automatically transferred to other zeolite products. The unique properties of PMA zeolite enable more effective and safer use, which has been confirmed by extensive research and clinical studies conducted by PANACEO. This means that PMA zeolite is also safe and well suited for long-term use (3 months or more), while many other zeolite products may only be used for short periods of time.
